In addition to parenting, Covid, Insurrection and a Texas Ice Storm 2020 and 21 was spent starting a new job with heavy demands. Holding on to said new job was everything. We had our lock-down with online schooling for the kids. Any art was shut down. I was just too tired, but now I’m back at it because even though I am miserable when I do it, I’m worse when I don’t.

This is Felicia during a Croquis Cafe episode 465 with Felicia. Blue watercolor pencil sketch on paper then green & orange gouache underpainting. No blacks were used. This took 4 hours of building up layers but it went by so fast. Stopping so I don't ruin it and figure out how to finish it. 10x16 inches.
